Job description

Our Cyber Forensic Investigations practice, operating under Forensic Services, focuses on cyber crisis preparation, cyber incident response and technical investigations. Our client base is agnostic and we service virtually all industries. At the core of our expertise is an ability to extract insights from vast amounts of data to make informed decisions. Our collective knowledge from the PwC network and business partners allows us to bring creative solutions to the continually evolving digital landscape.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Cyber Forensic Investigations Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
  • Execute and manage cyber crisis mandates
  • Manage several clients through delivery and project management, while reporting to senior management of the practice
  • Develop and mentor junior team members
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Experiences and skills
  • Extensive experience in Cyber Incident Response, Cyber preparedness mandates and digital investigation delivery
  • Strong understanding in tools specific to Incident response and digital investigations
  • Demonstrated forensic collection expertise across end user and network devices, social media, and remote repositories using forensics acquisition tools (Cellebrite, Falcon, FTK Imager, Sumuri Paladin, Macquisition, X1 Social Discovery, Axiom, etc)
  • Clear understanding and experience of chain of custody methodology
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of forensic analysis tools (EnCase, XWays, Access Data etc)
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical digital infrastructures including security protocols and technologies
  • Experience in security device log analysis
  • This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation
