We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented professional to join the front lines of Canada’s largest agricultural network. In this role, you are the critical link between suppliers, internal teams, and the end customer, acting as a dedicated advocate for the customer, ensuring that the essential products and services they rely on are delivered accurately and efficiently. This is a role for a forward-thinking communicator who thrives on organization and managing moving parts in a fast-paced, essential industry.

Reporting to the Customer Supply Coordinator Manager, you will manage the lifecycle of a shipment, from initial order and price coordination to document processing and final delivery confirmation. This is an ideal role for a logistics-minded professional who thrives on precision, timing, and effective communication.

This is a seasonal, 6 month contract position, from Feb/Mar - Aug, to start. This is a hybrid role located in Thorndale, ON. Onsite attendance is mandatory and reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities
  • Order Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full cycle of orders, returns, and exchanges, ensuring all actions align with internal policies, while coordinating with internal teams for accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Logistics Support: Process shipment documents and ensure real time data accuracy within software and record keeping systems.
  • Customer Engagement: Respond to inquiries via phone and email with professionalism, accuracy and speed. Communicate offers and price lists to customers and provide accurate product/service details.
  • Issue Resolution: Liaise with internal teams and address customer concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain organized records of all interactions and generate relevant reports as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on company policies and products, and proactively recommend improvements to service procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional post-secondary education or training is considered an asset).
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. Previous experience working within the agriculture industry is an asset.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both customers and internal departments, with a knack for building rapport quickly.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities paired with a patient, empathetic approach to customer needs.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with customer service software, databases, and digital tools.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
