Job Title: Customer Service Representative / Apprentice Glass Technician – front office / back shop support

Reports To: Office Coordinator

Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for serving customers in person and via telephone. The CSR handles customer complaints, inquiries, and transactions, following all bank procedures and policies. The CSR participates in training, sets, and meets personal goals, and acts as a brand ambassador by providing positive brand experiences to customers.

Job Duties
  1. Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients.
  2. Assess clients' needs, recommend or assist in selecting appropriate goods or services, and negotiate prices.
  3. Contribute to product design when goods or services need to be tailored to clients' needs.
  4. Estimate costs for installing and maintaining equipment or services.
  5. Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records.
  6. Follow up with clients after sales to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
  7. Handle customer phone orders.
  8. Detail vehicle interiors and exteriors.
  9. Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of windshields, back glass, and door/quarter glass on vehicles.
  10. Obtain glass for windshields and windows suitable for specific automobile makes and models.
  11. Inspect glass for defects prior to installation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and email.
  • Proven data entry and typing skills.
  • Professional appearance and manners.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Work Conditions
  • Use of safety equipment such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, with associated hazards.
