Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit and Collection Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing an accounts receivable portfolio in a dynamic business-to-business (B2B) environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of B2B accounts
  • Proactively contacting clients via phone and email to ensure timely payment on outstanding invoices
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and other payment issues by collaborating effectively with clients and internal departments
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all collection activities and client communications within the ERP system
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to prioritize collection efforts, identify at-risk accounts, and escalate issues
  • Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients to facilitate a smooth and effective collections process
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections or accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of billing, collections, and credit principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Teams
  • Experience working with an ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) is a strong asset
  • Attention to detail & strong work ethics
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for a professional business environment
  • Bilingualism is mandatory as our clients are across Canada and USA
