Hi, my name is Océane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I'm currently looking for a CPA - Manager (Assurance) on behalf of a public accounting firm located in Laval. The firm has approximately 250 employees across 3 offices in Quebec, and offers flexible working hours, a hybrid work model (2-3 remote days per week), and a range of benefits (group insurance, RRSP, health/sports bonus, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Plan and carry out audit, review, and compilation engagements for private companies;
  • Work independently to prepare financial statements and files in compliance with current accounting and assurance standards;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as leadership and problem-solving abilities;
  • Communicate with client contacts to address their needs and gather the necessary information to complete engagements;
  • Train, supervise, and review work performed by junior professionals;
  • Manage interpersonal relationships and motivate your team throughout engagements;
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously;
  • Review financial forecasts and internal controls; develop and present relevant recommendations;
  • Be open to participating in special projects or mandates as needed.
Your Profile
  • CPA designation (required);
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a public accounting firm;
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively;
  • Fluent in French, both spoken and written;
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate with anglophone clients.
