This is an interview position.

To provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route; to check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service; to provide related customer service functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
  • One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
  • Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in high-pressure environments
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and holidays as needed

This job description is general and not exhaustive of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. Employees are expected to perform all assigned duties, meet thresholds on mandatory testing and training, operate in a PC Windows environment, complete recurrent training, and work varying shifts. Quebec residents must be bilingual (French and English). Candidates with driving responsibilities must have a valid license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1 AZ) and a good driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months. Selection will consider driver abstract, interview performance, and driver assessments.
