Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site is an asset.
• Natural ability to engage with others.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification.
• Control access at entry points using electronic systems.
• Conduct regular patrols to establish presence and identify risks.
• Monitor and document all security systems for suspicious activity.
• Inspect and report maintenance needs related to security equipment.
• Respond to incidents or complaints and provide first aid when required.
• Secure identified doors and enforce property regulations.
• Protect client assets against theft, vandalism, and safety concerns.
• Document all activities, including incident reports and log maintenance.
• Foster positive staff relationships during emergencies.

Permanent Positions we are looking to fill

P1: Saturday to Wednesday (0700-1500)

P2: Monday to Friday (1500-2300)

Responsibilities for Corporate Security Guard

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification,issue and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Control access at entry and exit pointsusing electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrolsof stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.
• Monitor and document all security systems and CCTVfor suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.
• Inspect and report maintenance needsrelatedto security equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.
• Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.
• Protect client assetsagainst theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.
• Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.
• Foster positive staff relationshipsand act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response.

Qualifications for Corporate Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• First aid certification an asset
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset)
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
