Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
• Experience in production assembly environment.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyor pulley components including couplings and bearings.
• Disassemble and inspect components for service work.
• Assist with packaging products for shipping.

Skills

Reading, writing and speaking English

Good math skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Knowledge of bearing assembly

Forklift experience

Overhead crane experience

Education

Grade 12 education

Red Seal Certification

ELT course or equivalent experience

Tools

General hand tools (torque wrenches, feeler gauges)

Power tools

Pillow block bearings
