A provincial government entity in Norman Wells is seeking a Contract Administrator responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of contract administration processes. This role requires knowledge of contract procedures and policies, with a focus on customer service and organizational skills. Candidates should have post-secondary education in a related discipline and relevant experience in contract administration.
This job opening is limited to residents living within 50 kilometres of Norman Wells NT.

The Contract Administrator works within an established accountability framework to ensure the accuracy and integrity of processes including ensuring that all contracting procedures are carried out in accordance with policies and procedures. This framework includes the Financial Administration Act the Business Incentive Policy (BIP), the Northern Manufacturing Directive, Government of Northwest Territories (GNWT) Procurement Shared Services (PSS) Policy and Procedures and the Housing NWT\'s Contract Administration Manual.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by: The required knowledge and skills would normally be attained through completion of a post secondary education in procurement/business/commerce related discipline combined with two (2) years related experience in construction project contract administration or related contracting environment.
Equivalent post secondary education and experience may be considered.
