Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old with a full Class 5 Alberta Driver's License.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Content Technician (Fire, Flood & More) will enter homes and businesses after disasters like floods and fires - then help with moving, cleaning and sorting contents. We train successful candidates, no experience necessary.

The fine print

You also must be 21 years old, with three years of a full Class 5 Alberta Driver's License (no GDL), and no more than 3 issues on your driving abstract (our insurance company's requirements.)

What will you be doing?
  • Helping homeowners and businesses after disaster strikes (flood, fire, mould, asbestos, wind, and more).
  • Moving, storing, cleaning and/or disposing of contents.
  • Demonstrating high level of care and attention to detail to ensure the utmost care of clients' possessions

Of course, related experience is definitely an asset and will be recognized with more pay, so please make sure to inform us if you have related experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires a high level of physical exertion. Moderate intensity of sensory effort is required.

Working Conditions

This position will be required to work in adverse working conditions such as flooded basements, buildings after fires, and so on.

Schedule
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
