We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Content Author to create content and author AEM templates to ensure exceptional customer experiences and strategic alignment of customer‑facing content for all OLG digital products. This role will help bring the voice of the user into the digital product customer journey using innovative design methods to ensure relevant and engaging experiences are delivered across OLG platforms.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Manager Digital Content Authoring & Personalization, you will be empowered to:

  • Author new experiences and content pages including landing pages, product and category pages, promotional pages, press releases, winner stories and more – by using established AEM and CMS templates.
  • Utilize best‑in‑class and emerging design methodologies to design content solutions to reflect the evolving product roadmap and backlog of lab teams.
  • Architect and develop visually appealing AEM templates, components, permissions, and policies to deliver high‑quality front‑end architecture (web & mobile).
  • Gather business requirements from lab team, project or brief, and help scope work needed to complete, estimate timelines and architect solutions.
  • Determine information architecture and content structure across all required levels (sitemaps, content models, content templates, pattern libraries).
  • Constantly seek to optimize live applications to continuously improve content relevance and impact.
  • Run extensive QA to ensure consistency across devices and browsers.
  • Work collaboratively within an agile environment.
  • When required, work with key stakeholders (Brand & Marketing, Product Management, CX Design) and FLS to approve content prior to going live.
  • Act as backup to the other Digital Content Specialist.

  • Begin by identifying groups or roles for which the job has a critical relationship and clearly explain the purpose of the interaction.
  • Remember to include both internal and external relationships that the person in the job will need to establish and/or maintain to deliver on the key accountabilities.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of content management experience and front‑end development with similar responsibilities in a medium to large organization (agency or in‑house).

Education:

  • University degree in a related field.
  • In‑depth understanding of AEM 6.4 (or above).
  • Experience developing & migrating content and functionality between AEM environments.
  • Experience leveraging design thinking methodologies to explore content solutions.
  • Ability to communicate testing requirements and oversee QA testing before launch.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
  • Experience/understanding of automated build/deploy process and familiarity with the DevOps agile methodology.
  • Familiar with agile tools such as WorkFront, Jira/Confluence, etc.

  • Excellent communication with the ability to produce high‑quality output under strict and accelerated timelines.
