Overview

Role Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for expanding DTS’s presence across Canada and the United States by driving sales of our geospatial solutions, heavy equipment technology, and support services. The Sales Representative will act as both a trusted advisor and a brand ambassador, ensuring clients understand the full value of DTS’s technology and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development — Identify, prospect, and qualify new leads within construction, civil, and earthworks sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, sub-dealers, equipment dealers, and municipal clients.
  • Present and demonstrate GPS machine-control, RTK survey systems, and geospatial solutions.
  • Sales Execution — Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Market Growth — Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote DTS solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to help shape DTS’s product and service offerings.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B sales — preferably within construction, heavy equipment, surveying, or geospatial technology.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and explain GPS, RTK, and machine-control systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage a regional sales territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S.
