Senior Advisor - Product Marketing
for our
Group Insurance and Savings Solutions
division.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include :
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing business, marketing, distribution, product positioning, and thought leadership strategies.
- Leading strategic projects and specific mandates.
- Planning and coordinating marketing initiatives and implementing performance measurement tools.
- Conducting competitive and data analysis to identify trends, challenges, or opportunities and making recommendations for the commercialization and development of group insurance and savings products.
- Defining customer journeys and the value proposition of products and services.
- Leading multi-faceted projects from planning to delivery, including information gathering, execution, coordination, and approval management, while respecting deadlines, budgets, and organizational quality standards.
- Providing daily support to the sales force across Canada to drive business development.
- Acting as a strategic advisor to teams, senior management, and departments requiring expertise in business and marketing strategies.
- Working closely with product managers to define the vision and roadmap for the projects under your responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing (Master's degree in Marketing is an asset)
- 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of financial products and / or group insurance and savings products
- Excellent command of French and English (intermediate / advanced level), both spoken and written
- Intermediate / advanced level of English is required, as the role involves developing marketing strategies, targeting, positioning, and defining product differentiators with various departments on a weekly basis. These departments are unilingual English-speaking.
- Strong strategic vision to develop complex strategies and align them with all stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Skills in creating compelling presentations to support strategic recommendations
- Leadership, analytical and synthesis skills, strong business sense, team spirit, ability to manage tight deadlines, and creativity
- Extensive experience in market monitoring and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
