Job summary

A leading snack company in Toronto is looking for a professional to lead end-to-end supply chain planning. This role requires a strong background in FMCG and 8-10 years of experience in supply and demand planning. Responsibilities include managing capacity planning and developing strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, thrive in a hybrid work environment, and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in supply & demand planning, logistics network optimization, and manufacturing roles.
  • Experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle.
  • Able to build effective teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare end-to-end supply chain plans for confectionery items.
  • Lead monthly capacity planning and supply reviews.
  • Develop business scenarios for decision-making on capacity investments.

Skills

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare Mid and long-term end-to-end supply chain (including cross regional) plans for items produced across the Confectionery network for further review and approvals
  • Lead the monthly capacity planning / Supply review with leadership team to align the key choices & decisions
  • Develop and analyze business and technical scenarios to inform executive decision-making on capacity investments / Network changes to ensure service delivery
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to define problem statements, collect data, network analysis/capacity-planning via linear modeling, and deliver strategic recommendations ensuring seamless integration from short term schedule to full budget horizon
  • Work closely with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to deliver the category's goals
  • Ensure the end-to-end supply chain is designed to delivery cost/cash/service results
  • Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets and waste reduction to meet company KPIs
  • Support annual Supply planning Annual Contract Planning process
  • Lead/manage communication with Sr. Leadership (monthly & bi-annual reviews)

Education / Certifications:

You have a University Degree and/or professional designation in a relevant field (Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, etc.)
