Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monitoring of care ensuring it aligns with the established plan.
• Document information pertaining to the care of residents.
• Attend in-service education sessions and staff meetings.
• Assist in onboarding new staff.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments
