- Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
- Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
- Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
- Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring of care ensuring it aligns with the established plan.
- Document information pertaining to the care of residents.
- Attend in-service education sessions and staff meetings.
- Assist in onboarding new staff.
- Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
Skills
Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments
