What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide communication, collaboration, and planning support within the Community Development portfolio
  • Identify gaps, trends, and program outcomes, assisting with statistical reporting and budget management
  • Develop and enhance key community relationships with ONWA services, membership, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and host regional meetings, provincial events, and training sessions
  • Support internal projects, including event planning and program service delivery manuals
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Post‑secondary diploma/degree in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, Women’s Studies, or Business Administration with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in community service delivery
  • Demonstrated administrative management and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, and facilitation abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet objectives within strict timelines
  • Valid G Class Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues experienced by Indigenous women and their families
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, and events
  • Ability to speak an Indigenous language is an asset
  • Familiarity with resource development and implementation
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Software and databases such as EMHware and CRM
