About The Role

As a Community Data Analyst, you will be supporting our Community Insights team for Airbnb, performing analytical and reporting tasks, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data. You will use your curiosity as well as your interest in data to identify, present and suggest results, trends and learnings. You will also be able to identify best practices and propose solutions for improving the ways of working within the team as well as with the client.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, export and prepare raw data for analysis
  • Track ad‑hoc conversation topics to provide quick insights on community health
  • Leverage AI and automation solutions to improve the analysis of large volumes of community feedback
  • Qualitative data coding and categorisation
  • Build and maintain dashboards to facilitate reporting and data visualisation
  • Analyse community conversations and feedback in order to provide actionable insights
  • Write and peer review client‑facing community reports
Required Skills & Experience
  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in data analysis or similar field
  • Great attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills, ideally with experience using project management tools (Airtable, Asana, etc.)
  • Competent understanding of analytics and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Sprinklr or Google Analytics
  • Experience with qualitative data categorisation or thematic analysis
  • Good technical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quickly
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for documentation and data management
  • Ability to cope with a fast‑paced work environment and change
  • Interest in online communities
Nice to have
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT or other AI tools for data analysis
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Superset
  • Familiarity with Airtable
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
