Job Title: Communications and Administrative Coordinator

Location: Downtown Kamloops, BC

Type: Full-time (37.5 hours / week)

About the Role

We're looking for an energetic, organized professional to keep our downtown moving. This role combines office administration with member communications and event support. If you like variety in your workday, balancing emails, social media, event logistics, and connecting with local businesses, this could be the right fit.

What You'll Do
  • Keep the office running smoothly (scheduling, records, invoicing, member database)
  • Draft and share updates with members, media, and the public
  • Support planning and promotion of downtown events and programs
  • Assist with sponsorships, grants, and community partnerships
  • Be a friendly face for members and visitors
What You Bring
  • Strong admin skills and comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Clear communication — written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Bonus: Sage Accounting, web or graphic design experience
