In the role of Commercial Communications Manager working in Toronto, Ontario, you will be part of the Communications & Corporate Affairs Team. You will drive our communications strategy to build momentum for our brands, confidence in and support execution of our commercial priorities.

This position reports to the Director, Commercial Communications and works closely with the President of the Canada Sales and senior commercial leaders and their teams to ensure communications are clear, consistent and connected to commercial priorities.

What You’ll Be Brewing:
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to commercial leaders, including internal and external-facing communications.
  • Lead the planning and execution of hybrid quarterly Town Halls and support planning and content development for the national sales conference.
  • Create regular strategic commercial communications for both external audiences (customers) and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and write scripts for key internal events in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Develop and execute communications plans to support major commercial initiatives across the Canadian market, including developing key messaging and tactics.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of our communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Collaborate as needed with the employee engagement team to support communications for our employees located in Canada.
Key Ingredients:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing OR equivalent experience (4+ years)
  • You have 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related field
  • You have strong written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills that include program/event planning and tactical execution. Fluency in Canadian French is a plus.
  • You have extensive knowledge of the beverage industry and experience working with a commercial (sales) organization
  • You have a thorough understanding of communication platforms, editorial storytelling and content creation.
  • You have experience translating business strategy into an effective communications plan and execute for specialized programs and segmented audiences.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $93,000.00 - $122,000.00 (posting salary range) + 13% target short term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).

The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
