A municipal government is seeking an Active Transportation Assistant to support the development of safe and inclusive transportation infrastructure. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in a related degree program and possess strong communication skills. This role offers an hourly rate of $19.80 - $23.53 and follows a hybrid work model, requiring onsite work 3 days per week.

We are seeking a collaborative and equity-focused Active Transportation Assistant to support the development of safe, connected, and accessible walking, cycling, and rolling infrastructure. The role supports the annual expansion of the cycling network and improvements to the sidewalk network, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, community engagement, and safety.

Work Location: Civic Centre - 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga
Work Model: This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be onsite in the office 3 days per week and allowing remote work for the remaining days. Specific in-office days may be set by the team or department to support collaboration and business needs.
