Qualifications

  • 1 year of CNC Lathe and/or CNC Mill Turn operations required.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software experience would be considered an asset.
  • Sound judgement and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Plan machining requirements by aligning work orders to priorities in Manufacturing.
  • Set up reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
  • Verify settings by measuring positions and completing first off verification.
  • Maintain specifications by observation, troubleshooting, and adjusting.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standard practices.

What you will do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Manufacturing Team as we are actively recruiting for a CNC Lathe Operator using state of the art capital equipment for machining detailed components used in the manufacture /assembly of our custom-built equipment and accessories. This position reports to the Machining Department Group Leader.

What we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software experience would be considered an asset

Wage Range $20.00 - $26.00 hourly
