Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (measuring tools – micrometers, calipers and verniers)
• Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Equipment and machinery experience

• Milling machines
• Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Job Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 5 years or more
• Software experience: Must have experience with Fusion 360 software
• Security Check: Required to have criminal record check and basic security clearance
• Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs.)
