- Monitor and Maintain System Health: Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system health using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).
- Incident Response and Operational Excellence: Drive high standards around incident response, participate in Game Days and Chaos Engineering exercises, and maintain robust documentation and runbooks.
- Collaborate and Mentor: Work with Cloud Adoption and Support teams to ensure efficient service delivery, provide guidance to application teams on cloud-native architecture, and mentor other engineers on platform technologies and processes.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce platform security guardrails, RBAC, and security context constraints in accordance with RBC\'s TSS standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and refine platform practices, toolsets, and onboarding processes to drive improvement in customer experience and operational success.

- Experience with operational/incident management tools (ServiceNow, DataDog).
- Experience as a Linux system administrator (preferably RHEL).
- Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a team driving RBC\'s cloud transformation and platform modernization.
- Work on cutting-edge OpenShift technologies and enterprise-scale solutions.

The median wage is the salary of a given occupation where half the workers earn more than that amount, and half earn less. This information is presented on job postings to help job seekers determine how the salary compares to the amount earned by other workers working the same job. Job Bank preferred indicating the median wage, which is less affected by extremely high or low wages, rather than the average wage which is calculated by adding up all the salaries of a group of people.
