Position Description

The Senior Consultant Cloud and Data Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic cloud and data transformation initiatives for our clients. This individual will lead the development of foundational tools, frameworks, and policy documents that guide enterprise clients through Cloud Adoption, Cloud Governance, FinOps, and Enterprise Data Strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep consulting experience, cross-cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP), and a strong understanding of data and cloud governance from both a technical and policy perspective.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop and refine strategic frameworks and templates for: Cloud Adoption Strategy, Cloud Governance and Operating Models, Cloud FinOps and Cost Optimization, Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance, Data Value Realization and Monetization
• Advise clients on multi-cloud strategy and governance, with hands-on experience in at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead the creation of cloud and data governance policies, standards, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct cloud and data maturity assessments and develop actionable roadmaps.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise risk and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to align cloud and data initiatives with business goals.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge development and thought leadership.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud and data strategy consulting, with a focus on enterprise transformation.
• Proven experience with at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud governance, FinOps, and data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM).
• Experience developing cloud and data policies, including security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-aligned strategies and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
• Familiarity with cloud-native tools for governance and cost management (e.g., AWS Control Tower, Azure Policy, GCP Organization Policy).
• Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and data stewardship tools.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

• Data Strategy & Realization: Business case development, data monetization, and KPI frameworks.
