Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital located in Trail, B.C. is seeking a motivated and organized Permanent part-time, Clinical Mentor | Registered Nurse to support and lead the team! Service Area: medical. Travel Required.

Shift Times: Days and Nights 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00.

What You Will Work On

The Clinical Mentor role functions as an experienced clinical mentor, resource, and champion in the delivery of excellent client care to nurses and other team members. Working in conjunction with the nurse educators, provides rapid elbow-to-elbow clinical mentorship and practice support for nursing staff. Utilizes experience and clinical skills to function as a clinical resource to formally advise other nursing staff in nursing practice, provides clinical instruction and supports staff training and development. Takes on leadership role in performing functions such as mentoring staff to support skills development and supporting clinical practice initiatives.
