An exciting opportunity exists for the successful candidate to lead teams through change while developing strategies to continually improve patient care. The candidate will lead teams in developing and improving patient care models consistent with patient centered care.
The Clinical Manager of the Post Surgical Care (Inpatient Unit, Post Anesthetic Care Unit and Step-Up Unit) is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the coordination of patient care. Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the Clinical Manager utilizes clinical leadership skills to ensure quality patient care through planning, operational management, and coordination of human and physical resources. You promote a systems approach to planning, implementation and evaluation as well as have an excellent working knowledge of computers and their applications. You are a self-directed individual with strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills. In addition, the incumbent will play a leadership role in enhancing St Joseph's ambulatory care strategy and will work collaboratively to ensure quality service delivery in a timely and safe manner within a very high paced environment.
