Overview

About Coulson Aviation Coulson Aviation operates a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With a fleet including Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation, King Air, CH-47D Chinooks and UH-60 Blackhawks, we provide rapid response capabilities using our aviation assets across the globe. We currently produce, maintain and operate the fleet throughout Canada, the USA, Chile and Australia.

What we’re looking for

We are expanding our Cessna Citation team in Port Alberni, BC and are seeking licensed and apprentice Aircraft Maintenance staff to join the team. The incumbent will possess demonstrated mechanical experience on Citation 550 or 560 aircraft and will be responsible for inspecting and documenting completed maintenance on aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance on aircraft for which suitably licensed.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to current data and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).
  • Assist in planning, oversee and execute heavy maintenance projects.
  • Liaise between avionics, structures and maintenance teams to streamline and coordinate workflow during heavy checks.
  • Ensure work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Current Transport Canada or valid FAA A&P license.
  • 2 years maintenance experience on Citation business jets, or related aircraft types such as the Twin Commander.
  • Supervision and previous heavy check experience.
  • Previous experience using Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP) preferred.
  • Citation type course would be considered an asset.
