Term of App’t: July & August for a total of 100 hours

Start date: To be determined

Reporting to: Dean of Continuing Education

Location: Chetwynd, Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, BC

Salary: Wages will be negotiated (non-bargaining work/non-credit)

Description: Northern Lights College's Continuing Education Department is looking to hire an individual with experience in Nursing and has a passion for instructing youth. Camps will run in each location in July and August for a duration of 5 consecutive days, from 9:30am – 3:00pm and will be focused on youth in grades 8 through 12. *** The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass a Police Information Check prior to the start of the contract.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years experience working as either an LPN or RN (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
  • Knowledge of rules and regulation in Nursing
  • Understanding of safety in the classroom and teaching the students
  • Committed to student motivation and success
  • Ability to collaborate as an effective team member
  • Current, valid driver's license
