Job Title: Carpenter

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Job Information:

We're looking for a dedicated and hardworking Carpenter to join our team! Preferably at least a 3rd or 4th-year apprentice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, cabinetry, flooring, and trim
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
  • Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of carpentry experience
  • Ability to work as a team and/or independently
  • Responsible, professional, punctual, and reliable
  • An eye for a very high level of detail
  • Strict adherence to health and safety practices
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings
