We are currently looking for qualified caregivers who want to provide clients with companionship, personal care services, social interaction, meal preparation, shopping, errands, light housekeeping and transportation.

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal history background check as defined by the IDAPA rules governed by Medicaid.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to read and write in English.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Stand, bend, twist and lift as part of duties to perform activities of daily living (e.g., cooking, housekeeping, dressing, showering, transferring, shopping).
• Treat all clients with dignity and respect.
• Fully respect and execute all client rights as outlined on their rights statement.
• Read a care plan and clearly note daily activities.
• Communicate respectfully, timely, and effectively with the direct supervisor.
• Protect clients from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Be prompt and on time to all assignments.
• Communicate client changes in condition to your direct supervisor once identified.
• Respect boundaries and recognize personal relationship boundaries with your client(s).
• Follow your designated schedule and call the office with all changes.
• Be able to bathe, assist with toileting, hygiene, and complete personal cares for another person.

Responsibilities

• Aiding with activities of daily living.
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation.
• Picking up prescriptions & assisting with telehealth visits.
• Meal preparation.
• Providing companionship.

Compensation: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour.
