Captain/Tour Guide (Seasonal), Lake Minnewanka

Role & Responsibilities
  • Receive paid training to qualify as a Tour Guide and Licensed Boat Captain
  • Be prepared for a fast‑paced work environment with changing conditions
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is given to each guest
  • Deliver high‑standard interpretive commentary on board each tour
  • Safely operate tour boats in accordance with Transport Canada regulations (Master Limited 60 Ton; all training provided and paid for)
  • Maintain trip and mechanical logs, report boat performance issues
  • Participate in the global effort to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe

Note: Transport Canada regulations state that in Canada, only Canadian or permanent residents can work on Canadian vessels. TC form #82‑0701.

Starting wage: $20.00 per hour
