Canva Design Volunteer — York Region Educational Services (YRES)

Summary: York Region Educational Services seeks a remote Canva Design Volunteer to support community impact through social media content creation. Weekend shifts available. Earn volunteer hours, gain experience, and enjoy free training and networking.

What you’ll be doing
  • Contributing in team projects when assigned
  • Designing content for various social media platforms
  • Representing YRES online
  • Promoting a welcoming and inclusive work environment for everyone
  • Arriving to work on time/signing into shift on time

Location: Remote

Date & Time: Weekends

  • Shift 1: 9 am - 1 pm
  • Shift 2: 1 pm - 4 pm
  • Shift 3: 9 am - 5 pm (full day shift)

Who we're looking for

Bonus Skills
  • Previous experience in social media management/marketing
  • Familiarity with software applications such as Canva, [other applications]
  • Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
