Overview

We are seeking a Canadian Public Sector Management Consultant to join our team in British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA). This is a REMOTE BC-based role (preferred locations Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton).

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, define standards and optimize business processes, including designing new and redesigning existing business processes to generate improvements in performance measures.
  • Business Requirements Definition — Discover, analyze, define, and document the requirements related to a specific business objective or set of objectives.
  • Analysis of Business Benefits and Benefits Realization — Lead and support processes to ensure investments in change achieve forecasted benefits; measure and monitor the realization of benefits.
  • Business Architecture Analysis and Design — Analyze and develop the design, structure, and behavior of current and future states of an enterprise to provide a common understanding of the organization.
  • Organizational Design — Facilitate design and deployment of robust business and operating models, including developing corporate-wide organizational architecture, documenting current models, identifying key roles, preparing future state models, and assisting in filling roles with job descriptions and evaluation/selection matrices.
  • Develop Service Management Frameworks / Models — Design, develop, and deploy service management frameworks; document current state service management frameworks and models; create service profiles; define roles, functions and processes; integrate with related client work; create deployment plans for service management.
  • Business Transformation Support — Support clients with business transformation initiatives, including People and HR Management and Financial Management.
  • Strategic Planning — Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for digital transformation, enterprise systems, enterprise business goals, technologies, and related architectures.
  • Business Program Evaluation — Develop logic models and evaluation frameworks to assess program efficiency, effectiveness, and expansion.
  • New Program Development — Define program scope and approach; establish accountabilities and responsibilities; create 30-60-90 day action plans; prepare communications and materials for senior executives.
  • Prepare Communication and Presentation Material — Create materials suitable for senior executive audiences regarding updated vision, priorities, challenges, etc.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of business consulting experience involving diverse technology and senior management stakeholder communities.
  • 5+ years of Public Sector business consulting experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a technology project manager leading major projects with multiple delivery components as part of a business transformation program.
  • Experience with support of funding requests including business cases and government capital acquisition processes.
  • Experience in strategic planning of transformation projects with outcomes of program and service modernization, integrating Service Design and Lean approaches.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise IT Architecture, Organizational Communications and Change Management, Public Sector Procurement.
  • CMC designation and PMI certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay range for this role is 118,000 CAD – 198,000 CAD. Actual compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings accounts, life and AD&D insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, retirement savings with company match, and additional benefits where applicable.
