Associate Account Executive- General Practice

The salary range for this position is CAD $56,600-$75,400. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

What the day will look like

• Under the direction of the Account Executive, servicing existing clients' portfolios within the risk management group.
• Working on a wide variety of clients, identify specific client risk exposures, as may be required.
• Managing the client renewal process by collaborating with all members of the client service team to ensure coverage is secured and client deliverables are met.
• Receiving and processing client requests and reviewing documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, or cancellations.
• Preparing client service summaries, program reports and managing client accounts receivables.
• Assist with establishing account specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions.
• Respond to inquiries from client on policy coverages under the direction of the Account Executive as may be required.
• Assist clients with interpretation of insurance clauses within contracts/agreements.
• Explore with the client opportunities for expanded Aon products or services.
• May be required to work with two or more Account Executives.
• Assisting Account Executive in new business initiatives through tasks such as coordinating dissemination of marketing material, prompting regular contact with prospect, assisting in developing new business strategies and account penetration.
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Minimum two to three years of commercial insurance experience is required
• Level 1 licence is required; Level 2 license preferred or working towards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven success working collaboratively within a team and also independently with minimum supervision when appropriate
• Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Proven track record of prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office package
