Porter Airlines is seeking a Cabin Interior Furnishing Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft interiors. The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma in aircraft maintenance and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude. This pivotal role requires collaboration with the Line Maintenance team to ensure safety and efficiency within operations at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Line Maintenance, the Cabin Interior Furnishing Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft interior parts and components.
Concern for Safety: Identifying hazardous or potentially hazardous situations and taking appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for self and others.
Teamwork: Working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.
Passenger/Customer Service: Providing service excellence to internal and/or external customers (passengers).
Initiative: Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise.
Results Focus: Focusing efforts on achieving high quality results consistent with the organization’s standards.
