Lethbridge School Division is accepting applications for a full-time Head Caretaker position. The Head Caretaker is responsible for all aspects of the caretaking operation at the school site, including maintaining cleanliness. As the designated leader, the Head Caretaker must communicate and interact positively with students, co-workers, and school administration to address needs at the site. The role requires a thorough working knowledge of cleaning and preventative maintenance functions and the ability to complete all working functions to a high degree of satisfaction. The work may require strenuous physical effort alongside Caretakers. Under the supervision of the Principal, the Head Caretaker will work primarily on the day shift, with possible evening shifts. The Head Caretaker is expected to participate actively in cleaning the facility on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. In order to meet school needs, staff will rotate between evening and day shifts. Rotation shifts with the Head Caretaker and caretaking staff must occur during the school year between September and June. Division requirements for rotation shifts are as follows:
