A local governmental authority in Hamlet of Clairmont is seeking a permanent Bylaw Enforcement Officer to enforce Municipal Bylaws and ensure community safety. The role includes conducting investigations, issuing violation tickets, and performing animal control duties. Candidates must possess a Grade 12 Diploma, a clean criminal record, and experience or willingness to learn law enforcement practices. This position offers competitive pay from $45.73 to $53.81 per hour along with comprehensive benefits.

We are currently seeking a permanent Bylaw Enforcement Officer to join our team. At the County of Grande Prairie, we believe that our primary purpose is to provide quality of life in safe, viable communities. As a Bylaw Enforcement Officer, you can help to promote our vision and values by educating, investigating, and enforcing select regulatory Municipal Bylaws. You will conduct investigations and inspections, issue violation tickets and warnings, and report daily activities. The position conducts animal control duties including patrols, impounding animals, responding to complaints and conducting investigations.
