Overview
Senior Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, with expertise in food service management, staff training, and customer service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to maintain high standards of service while ensuring a positive experience for both guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Working in the restaurant during key meal periods to ensure memorable, quality guest experiences.
- Building the regular clientele to establish the restaurant in the local market.
- Train and supervise key staff that add value and follow expectations.
- Set the atmosphere and tempo of the restaurants to promote a lively, energetic vibe.
- Service standards to include quick, professional service, reading guests expectations.
- Assist with establishing food and drinks standards with quality menu items while maintaining efficient bill times.
- Assist with marketing and promotions through various channels to increase covers and fill each meal period.
- Survey the marketplace regularly for pricing, competition and changes.
- Carry out policy changes and initiatives as directed by senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years experience in a senior management role with a reputable restaurant company, including experience in a 120+ seat restaurant.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff.
- Knowledge of bar management, drinks and wines.
- Marketing and promotions experience with F&B.
