Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Associate (BDA) at X/Celerant. Ideally, the candidate will be based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario area but can be based anywhere in the US or Canada. The BDA's primary activity will be making contact and setting meetings for our Sales Team with C-suite executives in target industries. Please do not respond to this ad unless you have a proven ability to successfully set calls with C-suite targets of Fortune 500 companies for a professional services consulting firm. The BDA will also be responsible for market research, and effective communication with the staff and clients. The compensation for this position is a blend of base salary and commission based on a defined incentive pay plan.

Qualifications

  • Thrives on the challenge of cold-calling as a full-time endeavor
  • Ability to set 3+ new meetings a week in a target market
  • Must have direct recent experience in setting meetings with C-suite executives for a professional services consulting firm
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential clients
  • Generating leads and prospecting for new clients
  • Use of a customer relationship management (CRM) system to maintain accurate records of client interactions
  • must be Canadian citizen or PR card holder
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in business development or sales
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of operations and supply chain management is a plus
