Business Data Analyst
Location Address: 40 Temperance Street 15th Floor – hybrid – 4 days onsite/week
Contract Duration: ASAP – 10/30/2026
Possibility of extension and conversion to FTE
Schedule Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)
Typical Day in Role:
- Analyze, document, and translate data requirements into detailed specifications, including source to target mappings, transformation rules, and data quality checks.
- Perform detailed data analysis to troubleshoot issues and support data pipeline processes.
- Support data migration activities, including documentation of cleansing rules and validation of end to end test results.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models to support business reporting needs.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for data and technology initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis, identify risks, and propose solutions for complex data and business problems.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case design, execution, and defect resolution.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and data engineering to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Provide functional support for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including data structures, objects, and workflows.
- Build and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards. Investigate and resolve Salesforce data and process issues with business and technical teams.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling or business analysis (Strong documentation skills for both business and technical requirements)
- 5+ years of experience with SQL
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, reporting)
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce FSC, especially reporting and data model understanding.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, data pipelines, and metadata management
- Bilingual in Spanish

Education:
