Job summary

A property management company located in Quinte West, Ontario is seeking a maintenance worker responsible for performing various repairs and routine maintenance tasks, supervising other workers, and ensuring safety checks are completed. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and 2-3 years of relevant experience. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in maintenance.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Make adjustments and minor repairs to systems.
• Contact contractors for maintenance.
• Supervise other workers.
• Perform routine maintenance jobs.

• Perform safety and security checks

• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Work with minimal supervision
• Make minor adjustments and repairs
• Maintain inventory of supplies
