Overview

BSA / Product Owner (Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement) at Apex Systems. Apex Systems is a global IT services provider with an opening for a BSA / Product Owner to join the Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement team. This role focuses on driving digitization and AI innovation across the bank. The successful candidate will lead the creation of business requirements and BRDs, act as a liaison between business and technology teams, and ensure solutions align with strategic goals. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Adobe, Tableau, and knowledge of generative AI and LLMs is highly valued. The role supports AI-driven initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Client: Top 5 Bank | Line of Business: Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement | Target Start Date: ASAP | Duration: 6 months with potential to extend | Remote / Hybrid: Hybrid role, Wednesday and every 3rd Friday | Office Location: Downtown Toronto, ON | Work Schedule: 37.50 Hours per week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Product Management – Develop and present high-level business cases, analysis roadmaps, and conceptual solutions to enable strategic business unit (SBU) initiatives. Execute strategic priorities of varying complexity and identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency through digital and AI solutions.
  • Business Analysis & Project Delivery – Conduct business analysis, gather requirements, and design future-state processes. Support the delivery of projects, processes, reporting, and work packages in alignment with the bank’s enterprise delivery framework.
  • People Change Management – Act as a strategic partner to ensure initiatives with digital or AI components are people-first and adoption-ready. Build and execute multi-pronged change management strategies that anticipate resistance and engage teams.
  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across the bank. Proactively communicate with stakeholders to plan, organize, and align work. Gather input for development and enhancement of business processes.
  • Reporting & Insights – Track progress and analyze data to generate actionable insights on product performance.
  • Communication – Effectively present complex ideas using tailored methods for different audiences.

Must have skills
  • Experience as Product Owner – 2+ years
  • Experience as BSA – 2+ years
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders (technology, risk, product, business) – 5 years
  • Experience with MS suite – 5 years
Nice to have skills
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Visio
  • Experience with Analytics including (Adobe, Tableau, PowerBI, Databricks and Edge)
  • Knowledge of generative AI use cases
  • Knowledge on the use of LLMs
