Brand Manager Job Description

Our consulting firm that offers branding solutions for world class clients of top brands is seeking an innovative, organized, and strategic Brand Manager to work with our clients to help them build, grow, and maintain a consistent and influential personal brand across digital, media, and in-person platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating the public image of the client, crafting compelling narratives, creating and managing content pipelines, and aligning brand activity with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Develop and refine a cohesive personal brand strategy aligned with the client’s values, goals, and target audience.
  • Define and communicate key brand messages, tone of voice, and content pillars.
  • Analyze market trends, audience behavior, and competitor branding to identify opportunities for growth.
Content Development & Management
  • Plan and oversee the execution of social media content calendars, blog posts, newsletters, podcasts, and video content.
  • Coordinate with content creators, designers, photographers, and editors to produce high-quality branded content.
  • Write or edit captions, bios, website content, speaker bios, press releases, and talking points.
Digital & Social Media Management
  • Consult and grow the client’s presence across all major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Monitor engagement metrics and optimize performance through data-driven insights.
  • Engage with the audience to foster community and uphold brand integrity.
Partnerships, PR, & Events
  • Manage brand partnerships, sponsorships, and media features.
  • Build and maintain relationships with press contacts, agents, managers, and collaborators.
  • Coordinate personal appearances, interviews, panels, and event participation.
Reputation Management
  • Monitor public sentiment, social mentions, and online chatter.
  • Manage responses to crises, negative publicity, or reputational threats with sensitivity and timeliness.
  • Act as the liaison between the public and the client on all brand-related matters.
Qualifications
Required
  • 7-10+ years experience in personal brand management, influencer marketing, public relations, or talent management.
  • Demonstrated success managing social presence for a public figure or high-profile executive.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later/Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and platform-native insights.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, maintaining discretion, and handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in lifestyle, entertainment, business, or creator economy sectors.
  • Background in content strategy, PR campaigns, or media relations.
  • Knowledge of SEO, newsletter tools (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit), and podcast management.
