Overview

The client is looking for an experienced and driven Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, sales performance, customer service, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial, plumbing, or mechanical product distribution, and is confident in managing both people and processes to meet business goals.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Business, Sales, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a branch or sales management role.
  • Strong industry knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supplies.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical documentation is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead branch operations, including inside sales, customer service, warehouse, and inventory control.
  • Oversee order processing and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment and delivery coordination.
  • Resolve customer issues, provide product support, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of non-stock items.
  • Prepare sales quotes and assist with forecasting and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with outside sales, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and streamline operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop branch staff; conduct performance evaluations.
  • Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company Health & Safety policies.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers to support growth.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to support business development.
  • Generate and review reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.
