Job description
Overview

The Bagga Team – recognized as one of the Top Real Estate Teams in Canada – is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Closing Coordinator to join our high-performance operations team.

Our office is fast-paced, high-demand, and results-driven, requiring someone who thrives under pressure, manages multiple deadlines seamlessly, and delivers with precision every single time.

This dual role is critical to our success:

  • Bookkeeping & Accounting: Overseeing accurate financial records, QuickBooks management, commission tracking, and reporting.
  • Closing Coordination: Managing real estate transactions from contract to close, ensuring every detail is handled on time and with absolute accuracy.

This is not a routine accounting position—it’s an opportunity to become the organizational backbone of one of the busiest and most successful real estate teams in the country. If you are highly organized, thrive in a high-energy environment, and bring strong QuickBooks knowledge, bookkeeping expertise, and real estate transaction experience, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bookkeeping for team transactions (accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations).
  • Track commission payments, team splits, and brokerage disbursements.
  • Generate monthly financial statements and assist with year-end reporting.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and vendor accounts.
  • Maintain compliance with CRA and corporate filing requirements.
  • Review real estate contracts and ensure all paperwork is complete and compliant.
  • Liaise with lawyers, lenders, and clients to confirm closing conditions.
  • Track deposits, condition dates, and possession timelines.
  • Input and maintain accurate records in CRM and transaction management systems.
  • Provide agents and clients with regular updates throughout the closing process.
Qualifications
  • Bookkeeping & Accounting Expertise – Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting practices.
  • QuickBooks Proficiency – Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks for managing accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Professional Communication – Strong written and verbal skills, with polished email etiquette and professional phone manners to communicate effectively with clients, agents, lawyers, and vendors.
  • Attention to Detail – High level of accuracy and organizational ability to manage numbers, contracts, and transaction details without error.
  • Real Estate Knowledge (Asset) – Familiarity with real estate transactions, commissions, and conveyancing processes.
  • Time & Task Management – Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and high-volume workflows in a fast-paced, demanding office environment.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset – Resourceful and proactive in anticipating issues, finding solutions, and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Team Player – Ability to work collaboratively in a high-energy, results-focused environment while supporting a top-producing real estate team.
Compensation

$35,000 - $55,000 yearly
