The Opportunity

Shape the World Around You – As a BIM Lead within our Rail & Transit, Transportation Systems team, you\'ll influence the digital backbone of some of the most transformative transit projects in the GTA and beyond. In this role, you’ll guide cross‑disciplinary teams, champion model‑based delivery, and accelerate our shift toward more integrated, data‑driven project outcomes.

Your Impact
  • Shape and implement the project‑wide BIM strategy aligned with client requirements, lifecycle needs, and delivery objectives
  • Lead the configuration and oversight of digital design systems, including ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), to ensure seamless team collaboration
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce the Design BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM Uses to guide consistent, high‑quality model development across disciplines
  • Provide technical leadership for multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring consistent application of Civil 3D, Revit, and digital best practices throughout all phases of design
  • Work collaboratively with Construction BIM teams to align digital delivery workflows from design through execution
  • Monitor Design BIM team performance and report insights, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Design Manager
  • Mentor junior staff, elevate modelling standards, and contribute to the evolution of national/regional BIM methodologies

  • You've built deep technical experience in BIM delivery for complex infrastructure projects, ideally within rail and transit environments
  • You’re fluent in Revit, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, ACC, and model‑based collaboration tools — and you naturally advocate for digital innovation within teams
  • You understand and apply ISO 19650 standards with confidence and contribute to digital quality assurance frameworks
  • You bring hands‑on experience developing and enforcing BIM execution plans and ensuring compliance with BIM/CAD standards
  • You have proven experience leading senior designers, modellers, and multi‑office teams in a matrix environment with minimal oversight
  • You thrive in evolving project environments, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and driving clarity in complex digital workflows
  • Bonus: Experience with Dynamo/Python scripting, design automation, or AR/VR applications in infrastructure modelling

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000

MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
