We are looking for a driven individual to join our finance team and be a key member of our Financial Reporting department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks in a busy work environment, proficiency working with ERP software and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities

• Billing duties such as invoice generation and backup document preparation
• Analytic functions such as utilization and margin analysis
• Correspondence with operations team and customers for billing inquiries
• Customer information maintenance in accounting system
• Full-cycle accounting: reconciling key accounts, month-end close and developing supporting working papers
• Identify internal and system control risks and assists with the development and documentation of new processes to enhance the workflow of various departments including Information Technology (IT), Finance and Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, and Human Resources
• Provides options and recommendations for the implementation of new policies and practices
• Assist with implementing improvements to financial controls and procedures
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve requests from operational teams by adhering to accounting and business policies
• Own some of our more complex accounting procedures within our Balance Sheet Accounts
• Assist and lead ad-hoc projects as requested

Qualifications

• CPA professional accounting designation or on the path to becoming CPA designated
• 1-2 years progressive accounting and billing experience
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume collections environment
• Track record of managing deliverables from multiple parties to meet challenging deadlines
• A collaborative approach to leading an accounting team in finding creative solutions to daily issues
• Proficient with Excel, Word and MS Outlook
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Parking industry experience an asset

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per annum
