This role offers opportunities for development. Acting as a strategic partner to Account Managers to build, grow and maintain profitable, long-lasting, and genuine relationships with CWB / NBC clients. The Banking Officer will provide knowledge, courteous & efficient delivery of our products & services (opening of accounts, sale of retirement and investment products, completion of personal lending account reviews, etc.) enhancing current client relationships by utilizing discovery questions to deliver a full-service solution.

Your role
  • Listen to clients’ needs and resolve complex situations.
  • Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for clients to meet their transactions, investment, personal financing, made-to-measure insurance and estate planning needs.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Refer your clients to your specialist colleagues for their specific needs.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
Your team

We rely on our colleagues to share knowledge and help each other. Our branch is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This position reports to the Senior Manager Personal Banking.

You can access personalized training content on topics such as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.

Prerequisites
  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent preferred
  • Advisory service experience, inclusive attitude and openness to diversity preferred
  • Holding a mutual fund representative (MFR) licence is considered an asset
  • 3 years in a banking environment or have equivalent experience, have a strong understanding of banking products & services, and genuinely want to learn & grow your financial career preferred
