Job Description BankSupport Worker

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Service: National Neurological Services

We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join National Neurological Services - Springvale, Middleton. National Neurological Services supports people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological conditions in their rehabilitation, with the aim of helping individuals regain independence and eventually return home.

Responsibilities
  • Work with young adults who have complex needs, supporting them to fulfil their potential.
  • Build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions with individuals.
  • Plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
  • Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
  • Plan and participate in activities and days out as desired by the individual, contributing to their independence and wellbeing.
  • Make a positive impact by supporting individuals to become more independent wherever possible.
