Job description

The AWS Product Manager will engage with various AWS third party partners, account teams and other support personnel to continue to build on our client’s AWS Cloud Services portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product strategy and lead the development of the product roadmap for the AWS Cloud Portfolio
• Use analysis of target market trends to enhance or distinguish product placement as well as maintain product requirements within the competitive arena
• Be current and apply thought leadership towards the Cloud building blocks including infrastructure, platform, and application management
• Identify and validate critical managed services to focus on while defending against distraction of the myriad of potential services
• Define Cloud product value-propositions, service descriptions, product features and pricing strategies
• Lead and deliver Go-To-Market plans engaging cross functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering, Support, and Data Center Services
• Develop and manage revenue forecasts which will align to Finance and Sales revenue plans
• Build and present compelling business cases which demonstrate your astute knowledge of the industry, market, technology, and financial returns
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales to drive revenue results to achieve forecasts
• Support product lifecycle and have a point of view on product development, service and support sustainment and end of life
• Identify and maintain relationships with product partners, third party vendors
• Be a key contributor on the Ingram Micro partnership driving revenue opportunities and maintaining or exceeded skills and capability requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Product Management
• Strong business acumen and technical competency
• Commanding knowledge of sales, marketing, and general business management
• Be a thought leader in all aspects of Cloud
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate effectively to a non-technical audience
• Ability to develop good relationships across all levels of the organization
• Understand high-level technical architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be organized, highly effective at problem solving and have outstanding influencing and negotiation skills
